Where Leeds United currently rank in current Premier League net spend table

Leeds United have spent more than £30million on three new arrivals this summer, having only sold one player so far.

That was Rasmus Kristensen, who joined Eintracht Frankfurt in a £7.7million package, with £5.1m received up front. Jaka Bijol has been the most expensive acquisition of the summer so far following his £15m transfer from Udinese.

Gabriel Gudmundsson was bought from Lille in a £10m deal with Sebastiaan Bornauw acquired from Wolfsburg from £5m. He would renew ties with Lukas Nmecha, who was the first arrival of the summer having agreed to join on a free once his Wolfsburg contract expired.

Leeds are within the bottom half of the Premier League table when it comes to net spend this summer. New Club World Cup champions Chelsea have the highest net expenditure, with just over £192m splashed on the likes of Joao Pedro and Liam Delap.

The team with the healthiest net return is Bournemouth, who have received nearly £92m from the sales of the likes of Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid and Milos Kerkez to Liverpool. Leeds currently have the lowest net spend out of the three promoted clubs.

Sunderland - who have signed Leeds targets Habib Diarra and Noah Sadiki - have so far recorded a net spend of £63.8m while Burnley, who now have Jaidon Anthony from Bournemouth permanently, have a marginally higher figure of £63.9m.

Here is where Leeds rank out of all Premier League clubs as of Monday afternoon (July 14), with just over a month to go until the start of the season and six weeks until deadline day.
