What did KK Mwenyewe say about Diogo Jota?
On Thursday, July 3, KK paid a heartfelt tribute to Jota, who died in a vehicle crash alongside his brother Andre. Reports indicate the accident occurred when a rear tyre of the Lamborghini they were in burst during an overtaking manoeuvre.
Their vehicle lost control, veered off the road, and burst into flames upon impact. Authorities said the high speed, combined with the tyre failure, likely caused the deadly crash.
KK shared a photo of Jota with his index fingers in the air, seemingly celebrating a goal. He sent his condolences, writing:
“Liverpool’s striker Diogo Jota and his brother died in a car accident in northern Spain. May they rest in peace.”
