Leeds United midfielder Darko Gyabi is a loan target for Championship clubs, Pete O’Rourke has claimed.
Leeds United were promoted from the Championship at the end of the 2024/25 campaign. LUFC saw off Burnley to lift the title, finishing on 100 points.
The Whites may not be in the EFL for the coming season, but their richly stocked ranks and array of talented youngsters means some of their players could yet have an impact in the Championship, League One and League Two.

One man widely expected to move elsewhere has been Darko Gyabi. In fact, it was said the midfielder would be allowed to leave permanently after his latest Plymouth Argyle loan.
Now though, writing on X, reporter Pete O’Rourke has said that there are numerous Championship clubs eyeing a temporary deal for the Leeds United fringe man.
The second tier admirers are not named at this moment in time, but O’Rourke adds that teams in France are battling English clubs for his signature.
It is not said whether the Championship sides are eyeing Gyabi temporarily because LUFC are demanding too much for a permanent deal, or if they have altered their stance and no longer plan on cashing in on the former Manchester City prospect.
