Liverpool have already sealed five deals in the summer transfer window, yet they show no signs of stopping in their quest to retain the Premier League title.
The Reds are strengthening their squad following their record-equalling 20th top flight title win in Arne Slot's inaugural season and have already secured some notable transfers. Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Milos Kerkez and Giorgi Mamardashvili have all been added to Slot's team, with more than £200million splashed out.
However, Liverpool are still actively shopping, with a striker and a centre-back on their wishlist, as well as replacements for any other players who may depart. Uncertainty surrounds the futures of Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Ibrahima Konate and Harvey Elliott, so additional transfers are highly probable.
Here's all the latest transfer news from English football's most successful football club.
Reds set sights on Mateta

Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and his agents have reportedly held discussions with Liverpool recently as the Reds aim to boost their attacking line-up, reports the Mirror.

The Reds are hunting for a new striker and could target the Frenchman, who Foot Mercato reports met with Liverpool bosses in Paris in recent days.
Mateta, 28, netted 14 goals for Palace last season, but the club is somewhat exposed, with just two years remaining on his contract.
Liverpool are on the hunt for a replacement for Darwin Nunez, who they're keen to offload this summer, with Napoli showing interest.
Mateta, previously linked with Manchester United and valued between £40m and £50m, could be their man.
This could lead to a double swoop for Liverpool, who also have their sights set on Palace captain Marc Guehi and want to sign the 25-year-old centre-back.

Harvey Elliott

West Ham are reportedly keen on signing Liverpool duo Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton this summer.
Elliott, 22, is set to depart Anfield in pursuit of more regular playtime after impressing at the Under-21 Euros, while defensive midfielder Morton, 22, remains a peripheral figure at his club following loan stints.
The Guardian suggests the Hammers plan to utilise the funds from Mohammed Kudus' sale to Tottenham. They pocketed £54.5m from the deal and reckon attacking midfielder Elliott would be a suitable replacement, although RB Leipzig are also interested.
While no offer has been tabled yet, West Ham are reportedly optimistic about securing Elliott. The young gun is eager to leave and might find what he's looking for under Graham Potter.
Diaz's price tag

Luis Diaz has been consistently linked with a move away from Liverpool – despite repeated assertions that the club aren't planning to sell.
Both Barcelona and Bayern Munich are keen on the Colombian international winger but have had approaches rebuffed so far this summer.
Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr has also shown interest, though this appears to be the least likely exit route. The Reds have previously stated Diaz is not for sale, but Football Insider suggests a bid of £69m could change their stance.

This can be interpreted in two ways: either as an invitation for bids or as setting the price so high that it makes a deal unfeasible.
It's reported that Bayern won't exceed £51m, suggesting the latter might be the case, although there's still ample time until the transfer window shuts on September 1.
