Bayern Munich are reportedly in the race to sign Arsenal wingers Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
The German champions are looking to bolster their attacking wide areas, and they have earmarked Luis Diaz of Liverpool as their prime target.
However, according to The Athletic, Martinelli is also an option for Bayern. The Arsenal winger is one of several names the club has considered, but there has been no further development.

The report claims that while Mikel Arteta does not want to lose both of them, if a sale for one of them could help them land any of their top targets, then “that could change things.”
Last month, we covered that Bayern had been in contact with Martinelli’s management.
Martinelli contributed 15 goals and assists in 51 games last season, and he has scored 51 goals for the north London club in all competitions to date.
The Brazilian has a contract with Arsenal until 2027, and his market value is around £47m.
Bayern are also interested in signing Martinelli’s club teammate Trossard, who could become a serious option if the German giants fail to sign Diaz.
Christian Falk has informed CFBayern that Trossard is a second back-up option for Bayern if they fail to land their top targets (Diaz and Nick Woltemade), whereas Martinelli is way down the pecking order in the priority list.
Should Bayern reignite their interest in Martinelli?
The German giants can forget about signing Diaz on the cheap.
Liverpool have rejected one bid, and they have made it clear that they will not enter into any discussion with Bayern or Barcelona over his transfer.
In such a scenario, should Bayern reignite their interest in Martinelli? He can play on both flanks and has loads of experience.
At 24, Martinelli is about to enter the peak years of his career, and Bayern could get him at a reasonable price.
