Manchester United have ‘acknowledged’ the circumstances that they face over Juventus’ interest in one of Ruben Amorim’s first-team players at Old Trafford, according to reports in Italy.
Ruben Amorim is set to return to the dugout as Manchester United manager this month for the first time since the end of the post-season tour of Asia in May.
The 40-year-old Portuguese coach has been busy at the Carrington training complex after Red Devils players reported for their first pre-season training under him.
United will kick off their pre-season tour this month and will travel to both the United States and Europe before the end of their pre-season campaign in August.
The Red Devils’ pre-season campaign this summer will begin against newly promoted Premier League side Leeds United at the Strawberry Arena on 19th July.
Leeds United and the Red Devils’ friendly match is slated for a 2pm UK kick-off time in Solna, Sweden, ahead of United’s visit to the States for the US leg of the tour.

The latest transfer situation around Jadon Sancho and Juventus amid Man Utd’s desire to sell the former Chelsea player
Jadon Sancho is expected to miss the Manchester United pre-season campaign, with the Red Devils keen to offload the 25-year-old ex-Chelsea player from Old Trafford.
The former Borussia Dortmund ace is seen as surplus to requirements for United manager Ruben Amorim and Jadon Sancho has been heavily linked with Juventus.
Sancho’s permanent transfer to Chelsea collapsed this summer after his season-long loan at Stamford Bridge for the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
According to Football Italia, the contact between Sancho and Juventus has been ‘intensifying’ ahead of the United winger’s potential Old Trafford exit this summer.
It has been reported that Juventus and Sancho’s entourage held a ‘conversation’ on Monday and the discussions have been ‘getting stronger and stronger.’
The Italian outlet reports that Sancho is now ‘prepared to wait for Juventus’ and the former England international’s ‘priority’ is moving to Turin ‘going forward.’

Man Utd’s stumbling block with Juventus over Jadon Sancho’s transfer fee and the dilemma that the Red Devils face
Jadon Sancho is out of contract with United in 2026 and the Red Devils are keen to recoup as much transfer fee as possible for the former Three Lions international.
But Football Italia has claimed that Juventus have still not reached an ‘agreement’ with United over Sancho and the transfer fee could be a stumbling block.
The publication suggested that United have ‘acknowledged’ that Juventus are unwilling to meet the €25m asking price set for Sancho this summer.
It is believed that United have ‘no choice but to negotiate a lower fee’ due to the ‘circumstances’ around Sancho, who is in the final 12 months of his deal at the club.
