Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers looks set to sign for Everton.
The Blues have been in the market for a back-up to England’s number one Jordan Pickford, who is a stalwart of David Moyes’ side.
The likes of Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia left Goodison Park after the expiry of their contracts, after not playing a single minute of action last season.

Travers faces familiar problem at Everton
Everton look like they are going to purchase Travers after a £4million deal was agreed with the Cherries.
The 26-year-old is believed to have had his Everton medical on Monday (14 July) as a proposed transfer to Merseyside edges closer to completion.

However, iconic commentator Ian Darke believes that Travers will face the same problems as those who came before him when it comes to playing time.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: “He is not going to play ahead of Pickford.
“Any goalkeeper signing for Everton at the moment must know that he is signing as a number two.
“Who will be happy is the lad’s bank manager as he is going to get quite the pay rise, becoming part of the set-up at Everton.
“That is the reality of it, in his heart, he will believe that chances will come for him and maybe that is how it has been sold to him.
“Obviously, they will keep an open mind, but the reality is Pickford is the number one for the foreseeable future.
“It is only £4million and they are signing a back-up goalkeeper, he is not going to be number one.”

Travers to struggle for gametime with Everton
The move does not really make sense for Travers, as he wanted to be a starting goalkeeper in the top-flight, and he will not get that at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
It is a solid piece of business for the Friedkin Group, though, and who knows, he could ultimately displace Pickford at some point.
If not, then he will provide genuine competition at the very least, unlike the previous options at Moyes’ disposal.
