Player being offered round after leaving West Ham – Nobody biting yet

Kurt Zouma has been offered to Sevilla as he continues to search for a new club after leaving West Ham United.

That’s according to Orgullo Biri, who report that the French centre-back is offering himself around now that’s he a free agent.

Zouma left West Ham at the beginning of this month, with Graham Potter’s side electing not to extend the 30-year-old’s stay at the London Stadium. He joined West Ham in a €35m deal in 2021 but spent last season on loan at Saudi Arabian side Al-Orobah.

He’s yet to find himself a new club and various reports have hinted that his past, and conviction for animal abuse in England, haven’t helped his cause.

Now Orgullo Biri report that he is prioritising playing in La Liga next season. That’s seen him offered to Sevilla, who are considering the deal. Any move is in the early stages, though.

His extensive experience in the Premier League gives him a profile Sevilla would be interested in. The Spanish side need a replacement for Tanguy Nianzou who is set for eight weeks out injured.

The big obstacle is Zouma’s wages, which are described as high and would be an issue for Sevilla, whose budget is tight and has to be carefully managed.
