Wolves and Nottingham Forest in picture as Atlético Madrid look to sell player

Premier League sides Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest have shown interest in Samuel Lino, [according to journalist Matteo Moretto via DAZN](https://x.com/DAZNFutbol/status/1944840990495273287).

The 25-year-old Brazilian has reportedly been offered to multiple English clubs as Atlético Madrid actively explore exit options for him this summer. Wolves and Nottingham Forest are the ones to have responded so far.

The La Liga side are said to be open to a permanent transfer if a bid in the region of €20–25m (approximately £17–21m) arrives.

Lino joined Atlético Madrid in 2022 for only £5m. He is a versatile left-sided player, capable of featuring as a full-back, midfielder or winger on that flank, but has not managed to fully establish himself in Diego Simeone’s squad.

After a loan spell at Valencia, he returned last season but did not make a strong impact, and now finds himself outside the core of the manager’s plans.

According to DAZN, many at the Metropolitano believe it would be wise to cash in on the Brazilian, as long as the financial conditions are satisfactory.

The player’s next destination remains uncertain, but with growing Premier League interest, a transfer could develop quickly in the coming weeks.
