Man City and Puma have extended their partnership
Manchester City have inked a record-breaking Premier League kit deal, extending their partnership with Puma in an agreement potentially worth £1billion.
This landmark extension cements Puma as City's kit manufacturer for at least another decade, commanding a whopping £100million per season - the highest valuation in Premier League history.
The Puma-City alliance kicked off in the 2019/20 season, with the initial 10-year contract valued at £65million annually. This extension stretches the partnership to at least the 2034/35 season, with the substantial financial boost reflecting City's on-field prowess over the past six years.
Ferran Soriano, chief executive officer of City Football Group, said: "We joined forces with Puma with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond the expectations. We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons.
"Puma have seamlessly integrated into our organisation, and we've enjoyed many historic moments together, engaging fans globally. Today's renewal and extension solidifies our relationship and projects it to an even brighter future."

Under Puma's banner, City claimed the treble in 2022/23, secured four consecutive Premier League titles, while the women's team bagged both domestic cups. The Elite Development Squad (EDS) won four Premier League 2 titles, and the Under-18s twice lifted the FA Youth Cup.
The extension will enable City and Puma to keep pushing the boundaries with their kit designs, building on their recent successes. The 2022/23 shirt paid homage to Colin Bell, while that same year saw them launch a virtual kit in partnership with Roblox.
Arthur Hoeld, Puma's CEO, commented: "Puma's partnership with Manchester City has been a great success both on and off the pitch. Trophies, a perfect stage for our performance products and commercial success were exceptional."

The deal comes as City wait for the verdict of their 115 charges - with the latest update suggesting City won't hear the verdict before the summer.
City have been accused of serious breaches of financial rules over a nine-year period, as well as allegations of failing to cooperate with the Premier League’s investigation. City refute the 115 alleged violations of the Premier League’s financial regulations.

A conclusion to the case was widely anticipated to have arrived imminently in the spring after a hearing by an independent commission concluded in December after nearly three months of legal argument.
