Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder accomplished all of his goals in 2024-25, but he’s not done yet.
Instead of kicking back and enjoying his summer vacation, Gilgeous-Alexander is hard at work ensuring next season is just as great as the last one.
A video shared by Clemente Almanza on X featured Gilgeous-Alexander in his home gym, working out and pushing his body to its limits.
Gilgeous-Alexander is obviously focused on making sure that his strength remains intact and his body stays healthy.
Gilgeous-Alexander really did just have one of the best seasons of all time.
He led the league in points per game, was named an All-Star, became MVP, Western Conference Finals MVP, Finals MVP, and of course won a championship.
He did it all, and he wants to do even more next year and the seasons ahead.
It’s obvious that Gilgeous-Alexander is a supremely talented basketball player, but there is more to success than that.
Health is a huge factor, and even the best players are sometimes taken down because of physical problems they cannot control.
The best way to avoid those, of course, is working out in the offseason and keeping the body in pristine condition.
This video is turning heads because it shows that Gilgeous-Alexander is already focused on next season.
After years of building promise and potential, the Thunder are the best team in the league, and they wish to stay at the top of the standings.
They want to become a dynasty, and Gilgeous-Alexander is a huge part of those plans.
As long as he stays healthy, the Thunder really are capable of anything.
