The future of Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard could be decided soon according to reports from Turkey indicating a potential move to José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe.
With Mikel Arteta reportedly keen to revitalize his attacking options, Trossard appears to be among the players who could be departing the Emirates.
Mourinho, who has already secured former Arsenal target Jhon Durán from Saudi side Al Nassr, is actively assembling a squad he believes can restore Fenerbahçe to its former glory in the Turkish Süper Lig. The Portuguese tactician reportedly views Trossard as a crucial component in his attacking overhaul.

The Gunners are said to be open to the transfer and could sanction Trossard’s exit if an offer of £20 million is tabled.
Trossard to Fenerbahçe: The Current State of Play
According to Turkish outlet Fanatik, Fenerbahçe is eager to provide the former Brighton star with an exit route from North London. While protracted negotiations were initially anticipated, that may no longer be the case.
Fenerbahçe are set to fly out to Portugal and begin their pre-season training camp on 14th July, so a development on Trossard could realistically arrive this weekend as reported by FenerAjans.
This urgency from the Turkish club could work in Arsenal’s favor, potentially paving the way for a swift “one player out, one player in” scenario, especially with Noni Madueke also expected to complete his move from Chelsea to Arsenal in the coming days.
However, Fenerbahce could face competition from Bayern Munich according to the same Fanatik report which could throw a spanner in the works.
Trossard joined Arsenal in January 2023, a move that followed Chelsea’s successful hijack of the Gunners’ bid for Mykhailo Mudryk. Initially, some labeled Trossard’s signing as a “panic buy,” but many Arsenal fans would now disagree. The Belgian has proven influential at times, making 124 appearances for the club and contributing 28 goals.
