Manchester United are now facing major goalkeeping questions ahead of the new Premier League season.
Ruben Amorim is still looking for additions in the final third, with Matheus Cunha still Manchester United’s only attacking signing.
Bryan Mbeumo is United’s top target right now, but striking a deal with Brentford has been difficult.
United will hope to have that deal wrapped up soon, but must now consider goalkeeping additions as well.
Andre Onana’s injury could see him miss the start of the Premier League season, and Altay Bayindir’s agent has spoken to United amid interest elsewhere.
Radek Vitek is wanted by Millwall, while United are interested in Botafogo’s John Victor, so the goalkeeping position could become a key focus.

Matej Kovar completed PSV Eindhoven move
United will weigh up a number of goalkeeping additions, and Matej Kovar will have been one of them.
Kovar was sold by United in 2023, as the Czech goalkeeper joined Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.

Signed as competition for Lukas Hradecky, Kovar failed to nail down a starting role and then saw Leverkusen snap up Mark Flekken.
After becoming Leverkusen boss this summer, Erik ten Hag quickly decided to sell Kovar for the second time in two years.
United had a buy-back clause on Kovar as well as matching rights, meaning a return to Old Trafford was at least a possibility.
United appear to have turned down that chance, with Kovar now completing a move to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.
Kovar was heavily linked with PSV last week and has now finalised his move to the Dutch champions.
PSV turned down the chance to sign Tyrell Malacia on a permanent basis, but will now welcome Kovar to Eindhoven ahead of the new season.
Matej Kovar on PSV move
United could have brought Kovar back to Old Trafford, but seemingly didn’t believe that he was the right man.
Kovar will now hope for regular first-team football at PSV, having struggled for regular playing time at Leverkusen.
Speaking to PSV’s official website, Kovar admitted that he has received a ‘fantastic’ welcome in Eindhoven.
Kovar had a strong feeling about PSV during transfer talks and is now convinced that he has made the right move.
“First of all, I’ve received a fantastic welcome here,” said Kovar.
“My girlfriend and everyone else who travelled with me have been nothing but positive about what they’ve experienced so far with the club. That only confirms my initial feelings about PSV. I was enthusiastic from the very first minute and am convinced that this is the best environment to develop myself as a footballer and as a person. I immediately feel comfortable and safe here,” he added.
United’s goalkeeping pursuit will take shape over the summer, with a return for Kovar now officially ruled out following his move to the Netherlands.
