According to Tim MacMahon of ESPN, the Jazz have zero interest in trading Markkanen at this time and view the All-Star forward as a key piece of their future core.

Utah reportedly listened to offers for Markkanen last summer, but none of the talks with other teams came close to tempting CEO Danny Ainge and GM Justin Zanik to make a deal.

The 28-year-old forward is under contract for four more years on a $195.8 million max extension signed last summer.

This past season, Markkanen played in only 47 games due to injuries, but he still managed to average 19.0 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
