It’s safe to say that Armando Broja’s Everton loan didn’t exactly go to plan last season.
After a disappointing tenure with the Toffees, it was always unlikely that Broja’s loan wouldn’t be permanent.
Everton took a risk on the striker who is known to have serious injury issues, and the same story occurred for the Albanian.
Man… This is hard to see. Armando Broja has just been stretchered off to a standing ovation from the whole stadium, after suffering an injury that doesn't look good.
Been so unlucky with injuries over the last few years. Only just returning from a long term injury, I really… pic.twitter.com/G2GXHpMK1e

It’s frustrating for the 23-year-old, who has shown promise, as Everton fans praised Broja’s performance against Arsenal this season.
But it wasn’t to be for him on Merseyside as he takes his next step, and he could help Everton.

Armando Broja to play role in Everton target Nick Woltemade’s future
Although it appears unlikely that Nick Woltemade will sign for Everton, hope can’t be lost yet.
Everton have a long interest in Woltemade as it appears David Moyes is a big fan of the 6’6 German.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
The Stuttgart striker showed his brilliance in the U21 Euros this summer as the 23-year-old completely and utterly dominated.
However, it was always likely that bigger clubs would be interested, and it seemed as though Bayern Munich would sign Woltemade.
However, Stuttgart pulled Woltemade from the market, and it appears Bayern have struggled to reach a deal for the striker.
This still gives Everton hope of securing a deal, as despite the German side being reluctant to sell him, David Ornstein suggests that Broja could have a big say in this saga.
RB Leipzig and Stuttgart have both expressed their interest in Broja, as Stuttgart have already rejected approaches from Bayern for Woltemade, the Chelsea striker could be a potential replacement.
Chelsea are only looking for a permanent sale, while Broja is keen to find a new club, but if Broja joins Stuttgart, it means Woltemade will surely leave.

Woltemade is unlikely for Everton but shouldn’t be ruled out
Although it seems that Woltemade seems a bit too far-fetched for Moyes’ plans, the German shouldn’t be ruled out just yet.
Bayern looks like his destiny, but Stuttgart might be rejecting these proposals for more than one reason.
Of course, being in the same league, Stuttgart may feel as though their fortunes would be better if they didn’t have to face Woltemade, meaning a different league could be in store.
But the striker might also feel his fortunes lie elsewhere, with Harry Kane no doubt going to be higher in the pecking order in Munich.
This presents him with the chance to sign for the Toffees, where he would be the star of the show, as Woltemade could join for just £16m, and if Broja joins, it could suggest the striker will be sold.
