Insider Reveals Worrisome Injury Trend For Paul George

What’s going on with Paul George of the Philadelphia 76ers?

That is a question that many fans are asking as George faces yet another injury that could have him sidelined for months.

As noted by Evan Sidery, George’s latest injury is only one in a string of them.

Back in October, he suffered a bone bruise.

After that, it was another bone bruise in November that slowed him down.

Now he has an unknown injury that requires surgery, and he might miss the start of next season.

“George, who used to be one of the NBA’s most athletic two-way wings in his prime, is unfortunately breaking down,” Sidery wrote.

Paul George’s left knee has undergone three different injuries in less than a year:

October: bone bruise

November: bone bruise

July: unknown, resulting in surgery

George played in only 41 games last season, averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists on 43.0 percent from the field.

He was one of the many players in Philadelphia who got hurt, and the team’s season was lost because they couldn’t keep a healthy and strong roster.

The hope was that the season was a fluke and 2025-26 would be much better.

With a healthy George, Joel Embiid, Jared McCain, and others, the Sixers were supposed to have a great chance of climbing much higher in the Eastern Conference.

But this news about George casts doubt on all of those plans.

Will George ever be fully healthy again, or is this just a pattern now?

If so, the 76ers will have to start making plans without George, because they cannot compete if one of their most important stars isn’t at 100 percent.

The team cannot catch a break when it comes to injuries, and George’s latest mishap is a prime example of that.
