Everton have set the price for goalkeeper Harry Tyrer at £500k after a successful loan spell at Blackpool last season.
The 23-year-old goalkeeper played a key role in Steve Bruce’s side last year making 42 appearances and keeping 13 clean sheets in the process.
He returned to Everton at the end of the season, but has now been placed up for sale for a six-figure fee with a host of interested clubs.
Blackpool Hoping to Lower the Price for Everton Goalkeeper
Blackpool had hoped to bring him back this summer, but according to Alan Nixon, the price of £500k is too much and they are hoping to convince the Premier League side to lower the price.
He is set to appear in the club’s friendly against Accrington Stanley tonight with “a dozen” clubs reportedly in attendance to scout potential options. Some of them are expected to be considering a deal for the young shot-stopper.
This added interest may convince Everton to resist the temptation to drop the price which may scupper Bruce’s attempts to sign him.
Everything You Need to Know Ahead of the 2025/26 EFL League One Season
Big Season for Bruce’s Blackpool
Blackpool are set for a big League One season, it will be the first full campaign under former Premier League boss Steve Bruce. He has been able to steady the ship and in a tight division could look to push for potential promotion if certain elements fall into place.
They are set to lose Rob Apter, and look likely to have missed out on Josh Koroma to Leyton Orient, but are looking far stronger at the start of the 25/26 campaign than last season. In large part down to Bruce’s hard work in moulding his side into a more professional competitive outfit once again.
Whilst they may not be the strongest in the division, their manager’s experience and knowhow could count for a few extra points next season which could even be enough for a spot in the play-offs or better.
