It’s been a couple of years since NBA fans have seen Victor Oladipo play in the league, but he could be coming back.
He is only 33 years old and wants to keep playing after years of injuries holding him back.
According to a new report from Jeremy Woo of ESPN, Oladipo is impressing league officials with a strong workout in Las Vegas.
“The two-time All-Star, 33, was part of a well-attended private workout in Las Vegas on Monday morning, with a large contingent of NBA and European teams attending. Oladipo played full-court five-on-five in a group workout of international pros. Multiple team sources in attendance came away impressed, with Oladipo described as being in excellent shape as he pursues another comeback,” wrote Woo, via NBACentral.

When we last saw Oladipo, he was with the Miami Heat, attempting to rehabilitate his career after years of nagging injuries.
He appeared in only 42 games and posted an average of 10.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists, far below his career high of 23.1 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.3 assists back in 2017-18.
Before that, he played for the Orlando Magic, Indian Pacers, and Houston Rockets.
Returning to the NBA after years away is never easy, and it might not pan out for Oladipo.
But a team could be willing to offer him a minimum contract and use him as a bench player, paving the way for an official comeback.
Or, an overseas league could give him a healthy contract.
Oladipo has options, as long as he plays hard and stays healthy.
Health has been a problem for him, but Oladipo hasn’t given up yet, and it sounds like he is getting a lot of attention.
