Real Madrid youngster’s move to La Liga rivals to be announced this week

An up-and-coming member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is set to join Deportivo Alavés at some point this week.

That’s according to market insider Matteo Moretto, who points towards Youssef Enríquez as the player in question.

Youssef, better known as ‘Yusi’, is a 19-year-old defender, who generally operates at left-back.

The youngster has long been considered a potential star of the future in Spain’s capital, lauded particularly for his attacking capabilities.

Yusi was called up for first-team duties by Carlo Ancelotti on a number of occasions this past season, a further testament to his stellar talents.

With such ability, though, comes inevitable outside interest.

Aware that the Morocco youth international is likely to find senior game-time tough to come by in Madrid in 2025/26, a number of rival Spanish clubs have long been keeping a close eye on his situation.

And as alluded to above, over the days ahead, one such suitor are expected to make Yusi’s arrival at the club official.

As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto:

‘Yusi – Alavés, this week it will be official.’
