More names were unveiled this week for the NFL’s Top 100 list heading into the 2025 season, and among those revealed to be part of it is none other than Green Bay Packers pass rusher Rashan Gary. The defensive end landed on the No. 80 spot following a solid showing in the 2024 campaign with the Packers, who had a total of 45 sacks in that season.
Gary played and started in all 17 games for the Packers in 2024 and picked up 7.5 sacks along the way, while also recording 47 combined tackles, 15 quarterback hits, a pass defended, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. Making the season even more memorable for Gary was his first-ever selection into the Pro Bowl. Pro Football Focus also gave him an overall grade of 73.8.

The Packers are proud of the honor that Gary just received, and just as happy is Green Bay wide receiver Jayden Reed. In a post on Instagram Stories, Reed shared the Packers’ congratulatory post for Gary.
“Banee,” wrote Reed on the post. He also added a ninja emoji.

Hopefully for the Packers, Gary has his Packers teammates, including Reed, inspired. Reed has enough motivation, though, to have a big 2025 season, as he only has two years left on his current contract. Last season, the former Michigan State Spartans wideout came away with 857 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 55 catches.
