One of the best young players in the world, San Antonio Spurs superstar Victor Wembanyama, revealed where he wants to spend his entire career.
In an interview with Maxime Aubin of L'Equipe, Wembanyama stated that he wishes to be a Spur for life and spend his whole career in San Antonio.
"I know that not every player in the NBA has the same ambitions, but it’s obviously my dream to spend my entire career with a single franchise… Here. In San Antonio," Wemby said.
Wembanyama quickly became one of the top players in the league in his to first seasons with the Spurs.
Selected first overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, Wembanyama has played in 117 games (all starts) over two seasons, averaging 22.5 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.2 steals, and 3.7 blocks per game. He has also made 270 three-pointers.
He was named the unanimous NBA Rookie of the Year in 2023–24 and made his first All-Star appearance in the 2024–25 season.
