Iliman Ndiaye may be unhappy as Everton look to sign Aston Villa attacker Jacob Ramsey this transfer window.

The Lions’ 24-year-old academy graduate has shown a lot of potential in recent seasons, but his place in Unai Emery’s plans has dwindled since his injury and Morgan Rogers’ emergence.

Villa are open to Ramsey’s sale in the coming weeks and want a minimum of £30million from his sale.

If the Merseyside outfit end up signing the Englishman from the Villans, they may risk offending one of the best players in their team.

Ramsey to compete with Ndiaye at Everton after transfer

Ndiaye’s debut season at Goodison Park was impressive, with the Senegal international scoring nine Premier League goals for the Toffees.

The 25-year-old’s absence was felt by the Blues towards the end of the previous campaign when he sustained an injury.

It’s clear that the left-winger will undoubtedly be a talisman for the Merseyside outfit going into next season as Moyes hopes to make further progress.

Ramsey’s arrival could potentially undermine Ndiaye’s confidence, though, as the Englishman has been frequently played in a similar position recently.

If the Toffees are willing to spend a significant sum on the 24-year-old, they arguably won’t want to see him being benched.

While competition is evidently needed throughout the Blues’ squad, the Villa forward’s signing may not have the desired effect on the Senegalese, who could potentially feel that the club don’t trust him.

The Friedkin Group (TFG) have made Mark Travers the third addition of their first summer transfer window at the Merseyside outfit.

Everton seemingly have a lot of work to do this summer after losing several players as free agents, and so far, Thierno Barry seems like their marquee signing.

The Toffees will certainly be making a statement by buying Ramsey for around £30m, but those funds can seemingly be used elsewhere.

Ndiaye has done enough to deserve the Blues’ faith, and more strikers and right-sided attackers are evidently needed before someone like the Villa forward.
