Everton's pre-season schedule gets underway with a trip to the Wham Stadium to take on League Two side Accrington Stanley. The Toffees are stepping up their preparations for what will be a historic season as they begin life at the new, state-of-the-art Hill Dickinson Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everton have signed Charly Alcaraz on a permanent deal this summer, as well as adding the £27m forward Thierno Barry to their attacking options. The latter, however, is not ready to feature for the club just yet having been a part of the France squad for the European Under-21 Championships won by England earlier this summer.

Instead, David Moyes will likely feature a blend of youth and experienced players as he looks to build-up match fitness ahead of Everton's trip to the USA to play Bournemouth, West Ham United and Manchester United in the Premier League tournament.

Among those may be Jarrad Branthwaite, Idrissa Gueye, Michael Keane and Seamus Coleman, who all agreed new contracts with Everton this summer.

The ECHO will be at the Wham Stadium to provide live updates and analysis, with score details, commentary stream, comment and details on how to watch the game live.
