According to a claim in the Turkish media, Galatasaray and an unnamed Saudi Arbian club have made moves for Manchester City’s Ederson.
Earlier today [we covered reports that the Super Lig champions](https://sportwitness.co.uk/approach-made-for-manchester-citys-ederson-player-interested-if-personal-terms-are-met/) have made an approach for the Brazil international as they look to bring in a replacement for the recently departed Fernando Muslera.
[Haber Sarikirmizi have covered claims from Fanatik journalist Yakup Çınar](https://www.habersarikirmizi.com/galatasaray-haberleri/galatasaray-in-gorustugu-dunya-yildizini-duyurdu-resmi-h28064.html) when asked about Galatasaray’s interest in the Manchester City player.
As reported by Yağız Sabuncuoğlu today, Çınar also says Gala have approached Manchester City with regards to signing Ederson.
Çınar claims a massive offer has come in from a Saudi club, but if the goalkeeper were to sign for Galatasaray then he would be looking for a salary of €15m a season.
_“Galatasaray made contact with Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson last week through Gardi. There is an offer of €25m per year for the player from Arabia. He is demanding a salary of €15m from Galatasaray,”_ said the Turkish journalist.
It’s been widely reported Galatasaray are looking to a sign an experienced No.1 after club legend Muslera returned to Uruguay last month.
Ederson looks to be the latest target for the Istanbul giants after they were linked with a number of high profile goalkeepers in recent weeks.
There could be concerns they can’t compete financially with Saudi Arabia, but the lure of Champions League group stage football cmay be a factor for the Manchester City player.
