Inter Milan’s Yann Bisseck has been linked with a host of Premier League sides and Aston Villa could come forward for the defender soon.
TuttoSport, as relayed by FCInterNews, report that the Nerazzurri are preparing for the German’s exit. It’s stated Aston Villa are considering a permanent transfer and his sale would help Inter fund a move for a wing-back this summer.
Cristian Chivu’s side want around €35m to sell the versatile defender, who has a release clause set at a ridiculous €120m.
The German had an inconsistent 2024/25 season for the Nerazzurri and despite putting in some big performances in major games, he also made disappointing high-profile errors.
Everything suggests that Inter are keen on moving Bisseck on and links with Aston Villa are another way of making that clear. Multiple Premier League clubs have been thrown into the mix at different times, and it seems like there’s an effort to push the player to England rather than a host of clubs from here chasing him.
The 24-year-old’s exit will also hand Inter a big capital profit, after they signed him for around €7m in 2023.
TuttoSport believe that even though a sale to Aston Villa would be ‘painful’, the finances on offer will be too difficult to reject.
