Everton opened their pre-season with a draw against Accrington Stanley on Tuesday.
The Toffees travelled to the Wham Stadium on 15 July and managed to kick off their summer warm-up despite persistent heavy rain before kick-off.
This may have had an effect on the clash as David Moyes’ side took part in a back-and-forth game against the League Two outfit for the most part.
Beto got on the scoresheet as the Evertonians came back from behind to draw 1-1, with Goodison News now rating each player’s performance out of 10.

Harrison Armstrong stuns for Everton v Accrington Stanley
There is no shortage of excitement surrounding the 18-year-old, especially after a hugely positive loan spell at Derby County in the Championship.
It is fair to say that the midfielder proved exactly why this was the case against the Reds with a 7/10 showing from the start.
The teenager wasn’t afraid to get on the ball and make things happen going forward, which ultimately showed up older names like Tim Iroegbunam and James Garner alongside him.
This will give Moyes plenty of encouragement moving deeper into pre-season, something which could end with Armstrong remaining at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Youssef Chermiti frustrates v Accrington
There is no doubt that both the Portuguese youngster and Beto will be fighting for their future on Merseyside in the coming weeks.
After the signing of Thierno Barry from Villarreal, there is likely to be huge competition for that starting number nine role for the Blues.
Unfortunately, Chermiti just wasn’t able to showcase his best ability at the Wham Stadium.
His first effort of the game was far from tidy before a late first-half sliding effort went wide from barely four yards out in frustrating fashion.
This capped off a largely quiet performance where the 21-year-old was largely marked out of the game, despite it being a pre-season friendly.
Looking at upcoming clashes against the likes of Blackburn Rovers, Bournemouth, Manchester United and West Ham, it wasn’t the ideal start to the summer for Chermiti.
