Bears Player Comments Just Put A Target On Team’s Back

The Chicago Bears are widely expected to take a step forward in 2025 after a complete overhaul both on the field and on the sidelines. But the rivalry with the Green Bay Packers is already heating up.

Packers offensive tackle Rasheed Walker recently appeared on Good Morning Football, where host Kyle Brandt brought up Caleb Williams’ comment about being “1-0 at Lambeau.” Walker didn’t appreciate the remark and quickly dismissed the Bears, saying, “They got lucky. We’re gonna remember he said that.”

Interestingly, despite a chaotic 2024 season, the Bears came close to sweeping the Packers. Now, Bears safety Jaquan Brisker has added fuel to the fire. He mocked Walker’s comments on social media, quote-tweeting the clip with:

“Awwwww… it’ll be okay.. I have a nice Bear for y’all, so y’all can sleep tight at night! It’s a gift from me.”

Brisker, who missed much of last season, has returned healthy for OTAs and is eager to make an impact in training camp. But the question remains—are the Bears talking too soon? Green Bay has long dominated the rivalry, and with all eyes now on the Ben Johnson era, the target on Chicago’s back may be bigger than ever.
