Rams Fans Buzzing Over Matthew Stafford's Change in Appearance

The Los Angeles Rams are scheduled to unofficially open the 2025-26 NFL season with an August 9 preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys at SoFi Stadium, which will mark the 17th season in the brilliant career of quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Stafford, now 37 years old, led the Rams to a playoff appearance and win over the Minnesota Vikings last season and threw for 3,762 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions during the regular season.

On Monday, the Rams' Facebook account published a new picture of Stafford headed into his 17th season that had fans reacting with sharp commentary in the comments section.

Fans went to town in the comments section as they discussed Stafford's change in looks over the years.

"I love him but he needs a haircut," one person said.

"Looked like (comedian) Nate Bargatze in year one," another said.

"He looks 10X better," another said. "Super Bowl bound."

"Leaving Detroit and getting a ring will do that for you," another said.

"Young gun to Top Gun," another said.

"Aging well," another added.

"Leaner and meaner," another said with a laughing and crying emoji.

Stafford and the Rams have a Gates Open practice scheduled for July 24, kicking off what should be an intense time of offseason preparation.
