Liverpool remain in the market for a striker despite Arne Slot having already made three major additions this summer.
As TBR Football revealed on Tuesday, Liverpool have approached Alexander Isak, but Newcastle United weren’t at all receptive to the Reds’ inquiry.
Meanwhile, the Tyneside club are also wary of Liverpool entering the race for Hugo Ekitike, who they are currently in talks to sign.
Arne Slot’s side look intent on bringing a new number nine to Anfield this transfer window, but one of the players they’ve held talks with is set to receive a huge contract offer from Saudi.

Benjamin Sesko receives huge offer from Saudi Pro League
Benjamin Sesko is expected to receive a major offer from the Saudi Pro League after holding talks with several Premier League clubs, according to SportItalia.
The Slovenian forward is set to be offered a salary of £35m-a-year from Al Hilal and Al Ahli, who are keen to bring him to the Middle East.
However, he does not appear to have any interest in moving to the Pro League at this stage of his career and is focused on staying in Europe.
TBR Football reported this week that Sesko’s agent held talks with Liverpool over his situation, with Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United also being kept abreast of the situation.
Arsenal are close to signing Viktor Gyokeres, having previously shown an interest in signing the RB Leipzig forward.
But the Bundesliga club’s asking price of £78m is believed to have deterred the Gunners from making their move for him.
Liverpool going strong to sign Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid
Along with a striker, Liverpool also want a left winger and have joined the race to sign Real Madrid’s Rodrygo Goes, as per AS.
The Reds have moved ahead of Arsenal and Chelsea in the race to sign the Brazilian and are set to send an emissary to Madrid to start talks.

The Merseyside club insist that he is not for sale at all, but TBR Football sources expect him to be sold eventually.
