Kai Havertz's work in the gym hasn't gone unnoticed by Arsenal fans who have reacted to snaps of the German attacker preparing for pre-season.
The 26-year-old will be entering his third season since joining the Gunners from Chelsea in a £65m deal in the summer of 2023. He has become one of Mikel Arteta's favourites at the Emirates, but he is yet to fully win over supporters.
Havertz was one of the North London giants' most important players last season, with 15 goals across competitions, until he sustained a serious hamstring injury in February. He returned to action in May and will be keen to ensure he remains a starter amid the club targeting several attackers this summer.

The Gunners prepare for the 2025-26 campaign with a pre-season tour which takes them to Singapore and Hong Kong for games against AC Milan and Newcastle United. There will likely be one or two new faces who join up with Arteta's squad, including Noni Madueke, who is closing in on a £52m move from Chelsea.
Havertz will have fresh competition next season, especially if Europe's top goalscorer, Viktor Gyokeres, makes the switch to the Emirates. The Sporting CP frontman is a pure marksman who will be coming for the number nine berth in Arteta's side.
The Germany international appears ready for the fight amid evident physical improvements being made since he joined the North Londoners two summers ago. A fan channel responded to photos of him in training:
"Kai Havertz looks HUGE in the latest photo training."
Another fan was drawn to Havertz's muscling up for a potential battle with Gyokeres:
"Bro heard “new striker” and got active. I respect it."
One supporter said:
"This coming season will be a defining one for him"
While another wrote:
"He's ready for war".
Havertz moved into a makeshift centre-forward role after making the switch to Arsenal from Chelsea. He'd previously been used as an attacking midfielder but took a false 9 role of sorts to deal with Arteta's limited options up top.
The time spent in the position has allowed him to add more versatility to his game, and he has also been used as a second striker on occasion. He appears to have the right mentality regarding wanting to improve in all aspects of his game ahead of an anticipated third Premier League title challenge.
