Liverpool made headlines once again when they this week. The Reds to tempt the Magpies into even entering discussions and have yet to table a bid.

But the emergence of such talk has certainly ignited wagging tongues as the transfer window begins to head towards the business end. Should no move for Isak be forthcoming Arne Slot's side have another player in mind — ... interesting.
