Leeds United thrash out personal terms with Anton Stach ahead of a deal with Hoffenheim

Leeds are pushing to finalise the arrival of Longstaff soon, but they have made serious progress in their attempts to sign Stach in the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to German reporter Florian Plettenberg, personal terms are in place between Leeds and the midfielder’s representatives for a potential move to Elland Road.

The talks between Stach and the Whites have progressed, and the midfielder has given his nod to a contractual agreement with the newly-promoted Premier League side.

Leeds have also opened negotiations with Hoffenheim, who are ready to sell the midfielder as long as their asking price is met this summer.

The German club are looking to earn a fee in excess of £17m before sanctioning Stach’s sale in the ongoing transfer window.

Leeds are pushing to finalise an agreement with Hoffenheim soon and take the German midfielder to Elland Road as potentially their sixth signing of the summer window.

Stach will be a game-changer for Leeds

The Hoffenheim midfielder has been a priority target for Leeds for what he would bring to the table once he joins the club this summer.

Stach is a physical specimen and will add much-needed physicality to the Leeds midfield, which will be essential in the Premier League.

He wins his duels, is a good forward passer of the ball and can carry the ball from midfield into the opposition’s half with well-timed runs.

The German is also a progressive passer of the ball, and while Leeds will be defending a lot in the top flight, Farke wants players who have an eye for forward passes to get the team going at the other end.

His arrival at Leeds will be a genuinely exciting signing for Leeds this summer.
