Welcome to KUMB's latest transfer rumour round-up - five stories from around the web featuring players potentially on West Ham's shopping list, or current Hammers on the radar of other clubs...

Nico O’Reilly

West Ham United are one of a number of clubs rumoured to be showing interest in Nico O’Reilly, Manchester City's promising young midfielder. O’Reilly, who is 20 years old has been on the fringes of City’s first team and could be available for a loan move this summer as he seeks more consistent senior minutes.

Playing primarily as a central or left-sided midfielder, O’Reilly is known for his technical ability, composure in possession, and physical presence. He made just nine Premier League appearances last season, scoring twice while also featuring in domestic cup fixtures. While a permanent deal seems unlikely, a loan with an option to buy could be on the cards.

Andrey Santos

West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos on a season-long loan. The 21-year-old Brazilian spent last season on loan at Strasbourg in Ligue 1 where he gained valuable first-team experience and impressed with his composure, work rate, and ability to transition play through midfield.

West Ham are said to be among the clubs exploring a temporary move for the young talent, as Chelsea consider his next development step. Santos, who joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama in 2023 is widely regarded as one of Brazil’s brightest midfield prospects. With Graham Potter looking to refresh his midfield, Santos could fit in well with a high-energy, possession-based system.

Gideon Kodua

Gideon Kodua the 20-year-old forward has spent the past two seasons on loan at Wycombe Wanderers, making over 30 appearances and scoring twice—experience that showcased his development and has earned interest from League One clubs like Luton Town, Reading, Stevenage, and Leyton Orient.

Kodua’s current deal with West Ham runs until the end of next season (June 2026). Having captained West Ham’s Under 18s to FA Youth Cup success in 2023, a new loan in 2025/26 seems probable as the club aims to give him more first-team minutes and monitor his progress before making a final decision on his future.

Gonzalo Garcia

Gonzalo García, a 21-year-old forward from Real Madrid, is rumoured to be on West Ham's radar. Standing at 5ft 11, García can play as a striker or winger and recently impressed with four goals in five games at the 2025 Club World Cup for the La Liga side. His versatility and goal-scoring instinct make him an exciting prospect.

Valued at around €30–40 million West Ham may explore a loan deal, offering him regular Premier League minutes without a major financial commitment. Under Graham Potter, García’s pace and attacking flexibility could be a valuable asset for the Hammers’ evolving frontline.

Jack Grealish

Almost certainly a load of cobblers given the source, but as we were struggling for a fifth 'Fiver' today, here it is... West Ham, it is claimed, have enquired about the availability of Manchester City's out-of-favour winger Jack Grealish.

Probably little more than a case of putting two and two together and getting five, it has been suggested the Hammers are exploring the opportunity of a potential loan deal for the former Aston Villa skipper, who has two years remaining on his contract at The Etihad. While the closest Grealish has been to featuring on the big stage recently was when appearing at an Oasis gig at the weekend, he may well favour a move away in order to secure regular first team football.
