George Kittle is aiming high for 2025 on the field and maybe even in Canton.
“Oh, my goodness. If I just continue to stay healthy and play at a high level, all I ever do is try to compete with myself as best I possibly can and always challenge myself. You know, my old tight ends coach always gave me a note card at the beginning of every season and he said, ‘your goal is to have 1000 yards, 10 touchdowns and a ton of pancakes.’”– George Kittle

He didn’t shy away from the goal: 1,000 yards and double-digit touchdowns aren’t just yardsticks, they’re a personal milestone and possibly the kind of numbers Hall of Fame voters love.
“I haven’t gotten 10 touchdowns every season, that would be really fun, but trending in that direction now. So hopefully get a bunch of touchdowns, a bunch of yards, and just focus on that. Whatever comes after that, comes after that. But I’m just going to enjoy.” – George Kittle
That attitude suits a guy who’s never been defined by one stat. Even as he eyes milestones, Kittle’s approach remains grounded.
Looking deeper, Kittle’s also hitting new career highs. After finishing 2024 with 1,106 yards and eight TDs, he joined elite company: just four tight ends in NFL history have posted four 1,000-yard seasons. He’s also closing in on Terrell Owens for second place in franchise receiving yards.

With a new four-year, $76.4M contract and the full support of Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey returning, the door is wide open for George Kittle to cement a legacy—one pancake-filled personal best at a time.
George Kittle Opens Up About High-Tech Care Behind His Durability
Staying in top shape isn’t easy for a 49ers tight end, but George Kittle has embraced cutting-edge recovery to keep the body strong and the Hall of Fame window open.
“That’s why I dove so heavy into stem cells. I do a brain scan once a year… everything’s good, happy to report.” – George Kittle
Kittle has leaned on stem-cell treatments in Panama and combines that with annual brain scans and red-light therapy. A part of a reported $250,000-a-year wellness regimen.

Beyond injury prevention, he’s also focused on concussion awareness—a pressing issue in pro football. Annual scans help spot issues early, while stem-cell therapies aim to boost healing at the cellular level.
For George Kittle, longevity isn’t accidental—it’s engineered. And as long as the results hold, he’ll keep building toward that Hall of Fame candidacy on and off the field.
