Despite only spending a season long loan at Leeds United, Lasogga said _“I’ve had the great honour of playing for huge clubs”_ and then name-checked the Whites.
Lasogga was asked what grade he would give his career, in which he responded that _“in the end, it’s a 1. Because it was simply a really nice career at great clubs, and I’m very happy with it”._
The interviewer asked Lasogga about his decision to sign Al-Arabi SC, and he was clear the overriding reason was the finances on offer and doesn’t feel footballers should be shy about just admitting that.
Lasogga scored 10 times and assisted on 4 occasions in 33 appearances during his spell at Leeds United. He, and his mother, and worked as his agent, left quite some mark on the Yorkshire club.
