Aston Villa may have their answer when it comes to Barcelona star Ferran Torres.
Unai Emery was keen to bring the 25-year-old back to the Premier League after the Villans eased their Profit and Sustainability concerns.
The Spaniard has already turned around the careers of Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio, who thrived in their time in the West Midlands.
However, it appears that Torres will not be taking the same path as those two.

Villa to be let down in Torres pursuit
The Villa Park outfit have been linked with the former Manchester City star, who reportedly has a £43million valuation.
Iconic commentator Ian Darke believes it would be great business for the Villans, but he cannot see the Catalans allowing him to leave.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, he said: “I think it would be a fantastic move, I think he is one of those underrated strikers.
“If you look at his goalscoring record for Barcelona last season, it was very good; he stepped in when Lewandowski was unfit and could not stop scoring goals.
“He was a more than useful part of Barcelona winning the championship, not necessarily as a starter. Every time he came in, he looked a bit of a livewire.
“He is a very underrated poacher, his record at City was not too shabby, even though he was not a first-choice player there most of the time.
“For the reason I have just outlined, I would be surprised if Barcelona wanted to let him go, as he is such excellent cover, and Lewandowski is 37 this year.
“I’d be surprised if Barcelona let him through the door because they have got a very able replacement, who can just step in as and when in Torres.”

Emery to look elsewhere as Barcelona Torres’ stance emerges
It makes sense that the Spanish giants want to keep Torres around, as Darke states, he is a key backup for Lewandowski.

Torres’ stats last season.
He notched 10 goals and six assists in 27 matches in La Liga last season, so it is little surprise that Hansi Flick does not want to let him leave.
Monchi and Emery will have to look for alternative targets as a move for Torres seems to be dead in the water.
