Manchester United will take their pre-season preparations up a notch when they face Leeds United in their opening friendly on Saturday.
For the third summer running, United will travel to Scandinavia for their pre-season opener, visiting the Friends Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, to take on their Premier League counterparts.
The Reds visited Norway for their pre-season opener in 2023 and 2024, facing Leeds and Rosenborg respectively, but will take on the Whites in the Swedish capital on this occasion.
The clash with Daniel Farke's side, who won the Championship last season, will be the first of five friendlies United will fulfil this summer ahead of their Premier League opener against Arsenal at Old Trafford on August 17.
Following the tussle with Leeds on Saturday, which is penciled in for a 2pm kick-off BST, United will fly to Chicago next week to commence their pre-season tour of the United States.
Ruben Amorim's side will compete in the Premier League Summer Series during their time in the States, taking on West Ham United, Bournemouth and Everton.
The tour opener against the Hammers will take place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 27, kick-off 12am BST. United faced Arsenal in the stadium in their opening game of their US tour in 2023.
After facing the Hammers in their tour curtain-raiser, United will take on Bournemouth at Soldier Field in Chicago a few days later. The clash with the Cherries will take place on July 31, kick-off 2.30am BST.
United will then travel to Atlanta to face Everton in their final game of the Premier League Summer Series at the impressive Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The clash with the Toffees will take place on August 3, kick-off 10pm BST.

Once United have returned to home soil, they will have a few days worth of training at Carrington to prepare for their final outing of pre-season against Italian side Fiorentina at Old Trafford on Saturday, August 9, kick-off 12.45pm BST.
The clash with the Serie A club is poised to see former United goalkeeper David de Gea return to Old Trafford for the first time since leaving the club at the end of the 2022/23 season. The Reds did not play at Old Trafford in pre-season last year.
