Everton could potentially be affected as Ipswich Town have received an offer for attacker Omari Hutchinson this transfer window.
The former Chelsea playmaker signed for the Tractor Boys permanently after impressing on loan in the 2023/24 campaign.
David Moyes now has his eyes on Hutchinson, who suffered relegation from the Premier League with the Suffolk outfit last season.
After Abdoulaye Doucoure’s departure from Goodison Park, it makes sense for the Blues to pursue the attacking midfielder, but they may have to move quickly to conclude a deal.

Brentford have offered Ipswich £35m for Hutchinson amid interest from the Toffees, according to the Daily Mail.

The news outlet reports (16 July) that the Bees have identified the 21-year-old to bolster their attack ahead of next season, with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoan Wissa linked with exits.
It’s been claimed that the Blues want the Englishman, who is keen on a move to the Gtech Community Stadium, and Nottingham Forest could also potentially enter the race.

If the Merseyside outfit want to sign the playmaker, they will arguably have to make their move soon and convince him of a transfer to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Carlos Alcaraz’s loan move from Flamengo has been made permanent after impressing under Moyes, but the Scottish manager undoubtedly needs more options in his squad.
The defensive midfield department is covered with James Garner, Idrissa Gueye and Tim Iroegbunam, but a new number 10 and right winger are evidently needed.

Jack Harrison is of interest to Moyes as the Blues look to bolster their right side of attack, but some fans aren’t too keen on the Leeds United forward.
Hutchinson is capable of playing on the wings despite mostly being deployed as an attacking midfielder last season, and could be a quality addition at Everton.
With Dwight McNeil’s return from injury, it will be interesting to see where he will be playing under Moyes after a revamp up front with Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s departure.
The Ipswich playmaker’s future will be one to keep an eye on, as an outcome may come soon.
