Hugo Ekitike is yet to decide on his future at Eintracht Frankfurt as he continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League.

Liverpool are considering a move for the Frenchman, while Newcastle United are reportedly stepping up their own interest.

Frankfurt have already turned down Newcastle’s formal £70m bid for the 23-year-old, who they value at £85m.

The Magpies have already held talks with Ekitike’s representatives in Austria, as they look to sign the striker this summer.

He banged in 22 goals in 48 games across all competitions last season for Frankfurt as they secured Champions League qualification.

Speaking about Ekitike’s future, Frankfurt defender Timothy Chandler revealed that he’s aware that the forward could move on.

“I really don’t think so, I have to say it,” Chandler told BILD. “He’s very open about it; we talked about it on the first day (of pre-season).
