Marcus Rashford's future at Old Trafford looks to be over as rumours circle around a potential escape.

Rashford is among five players who have expressed their desire to leave the club this summer, which includes Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia, after they were told they were free to find new clubs. And the England international has caught the eye of Barcelona and Saudi Arabia.

Despite being frozen out of Ruben Amorim's plans, the 27-year-old forward has been granted access to Carrington's training facilities. However, it seems highly probable that he will be on his way out this summer after spending the latter half of last season on loan at Premier League rivals Aston Villa.

Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at Rashford's potential destinations this summer.

Barca 'yet to make decision'

Spanish heavyweights Barcelona are still undecided about signing Rashford this summer. Fabrizio Romano disclosed this week that formal discussions between the clubs have yet to commence.

Rashford has been linked with a move to Catalonia and it's no secret that Barcelona is his preferred destination. Nico Williams' decision to sign a new deal at Athletic Bilbao and Liverpool standing firm on Luis Diaz, means Rashford is a likely target for the Blaugrana.

Shock Liverpool 'consideration'

The Daily Mail claims that Liverpool have shortlisted Rashford among six potential striker targets, should they fail to secure Alexander Isak from Newcastle United.

It's also suggested that the Anfield side have made enquiries about Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins, Brentford's Yoane Wissa, and Napoli's Victor Osimhen, amid escalating interest in Darwin Nunez. They are also reportedly 'alert' to the possibility of Real Madrid offloading Rodrygo.

Meanwhile, Rashford has been 'floated as an idea' but nothing concrete has materialised yet in what would be a shocking move.

Since the 1964 transfer of forward Phil Chisnall from United to Liverpool, no player has been transferred directly between the two bitter rivals.

And Daily Star Sport understands that contrary to the emerging headlines, there is no interest from the Anfield giants in signing Rashford.

Man United 'talks'

The Mirror reports that Rashford is set to have a meeting with United in the upcoming week to discuss his future at the club.

As per the report, his agents are likely to probe for a clear picture on the club's position regarding a potential transfer, including the price tag or loan conditions for a summer exit.

Whether Rashford will leave permanently or just head out on loan remains up in the air. United have slapped a £40million valuation on Rashford.

Saudi Arabia 'rejection'.

Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo reports that a number of Saudi Arabian clubs have shown interest in signing Marcus Rashford this summer. One club is believed to have made a lucrative offer of around £35 million a year to the winger.

However, Rashford has reportedly knocked back the approach, keeping his sights firmly on a Barcelona move.
