Everton will face an obstacle to sign Panathinaikos right-back Georgios Vagiannidis at Bramley-Moore Dock this transfer window.
The 23-year-old has emerged as a key player for the Greek outfit, and it isn’t surprising to see top teams expressing their interest in him.
David Moyes wants Vagiannidis at the Toffees in the coming weeks, with the Greens braced to receive bids for the defender.
Ashley Young is being linked with a return to Watford after leaving the Blues as a free agent, but the Merseysiders may have to wait to replace him with the Greece international.

The news outlet reports in its print edition (16 July, page 4) that the Greek outfit are willing to sell the 23-year-old only after facing the Scottish Premiership outfit over two legs on 22 July and 30 July.
It’s been claimed that Sporting CP have already offered a package deal of around £10million for the right-back, but his exit isn’t imminent until August.

The Toffees also have Vagiannidis on their radar, with Premier League rivals Wolves also monitoring his situation.
If the Blues intend to seal a deal for the Greece international, they will seemingly have to hijack Sporting CP’s offer, but they have got a few weeks to do so.
Moyes arguably needs reinforcements in several departments in the ongoing transfer window, and right-back is one of them.

Jake O’Brien and Seamus Coleman should not be right-back options at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Seamus Coleman will feature at Bramley-Moore Dock with the Merseyside outfit after extending his contract.
The Irish star isn’t a reliable option due to his consistent fitness issues, but his experience and influence on the squad will certainly be beneficial.
Jake O’Brien was relied on by Moyes to play on the right side of defence last season, but it feels like the right time to play him in his natural position.
The Toffees should work on signing a new right-back, and it will be interesting to see how the situation surrounding Vagiannidis unfolds.
