CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Cleveland Browns say the ball is in Mayor Justin Bibb’s court when it comes to discussions of whether or how much the team may contribute for lakefront development, including demolition of the existing stadium.
The team’s comments came Tuesday in response to Bibb’s recent statement that he hopes the Browns will be “good corporate citizens” in helping with tearing down the city-owned stadium if the team leaves for Brook Park as planned in 2029.
