“Most Disrespected QB”: Lamar Jackson’s Efforts Goes Unnoticed As NFL Executives Poll Drops…

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens quarterback, recently found himself ranked second in ESPN’s top 10 QBs list. The list was created based on votes from NFL executives, coaches, and various scouts and has created quite a buzz online. The winner of the list was, of course, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who got about 60 percent of the first-place votes.

Lamar Jackson was not alone in the second-ranked list, with Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, and Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. According to ESPN analyst Jeremy Fowler, Jackson, Allen and Burrow got 40 percent of the votes. Jackson’s placement in the list was definitely not appreciated by numerous fans, including Michelle Smallmon.

Lamar Jackson has been playing with the Baltimore Ravens since 2018, but has failed to win a Super Bowl ring ever since. Despite all this, the quarterback is definitely predicted to be among the best signal-callers in the league today. Jackson and the Ravens will be kicking off their 2025 NFL campaign with a face-off against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.

Apart from Jackson’s spot in the list, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ position was also surprising, not because of the ranking in itself but because of the votes he gathered. Mahomes only managed 60 percent of the first-rank voters, taking a serious hit when compared to the previous year.

Lamar Jackson’s Ranking Is Because Of Jealousy In NFL

Lamar Jackson’s position in the QB list has definitely not been well-received by both fans and analysts. One particular analyst even admitted that Jackson has been rated so low only because of “nothing but jealousy and hate” in the NFL.

Many fans have taken to social media to call out the NFL executives for rating Lamar Jackson so low, especially since the starting quarterback has contributed plenty to the Ravens. Unfortunately, despite his impressive personal stats, Jackson has not managed to win a Super Bowl. At the same time, not all the quarterbacks in the list have won Super Bowl rings, which has also been called out by fans.
