Some Liverpool fans have understandably been left sickened after copies of the special Diogo Jota tribute programme, produced by Preston North End for last weekend's friendly, started appearing on resale sites for lofty sums.
Preston put on a number of classy tributes to the late Liverpool forward, one of which saw the club produce a 16-page matchday program to pay tribute to Jota and his brother, Andre Silva, who died in a car crash in Spain at the beginning of July.
Fans in attendance at Sunday's game at Deepdale were invited to pick up a free copy of the program outside the ground, but some copies have now been listed on websites like eBay, with huge price tags.
One was listed at £75 ($100), while another listing had the program priced at £34 ($46). On the latter listing, four were originally available, and the listing says that two of the four were sold, which suggests that the seller made over $90 from two free programs.
Liverpool fans expressed their disgust on social media, with one writing: "There are some proper vile people out there."
Liverpool won the friendly against Preston 3-1 courtesy of goals from Conor Bradley, Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo. The game was Liverpool's first since the death of Jota 10 days earlier and tributes were paid throughout the afternoon in Lancashire.
A moving live performance of You’ll Never Walk Alone preceded kickoff, while a wreath was placed near the away supporters by the home team.
Screens and pitchside LEDs lit up with heartfelt tributes to Jota and his brother. A minute's silence was also observed, while both sets of players wore black armbands.
After the final whistle, an emotional moment unfolded as Liverpool’s players, staff, and supporters came together as Jota's song was belted out by the thousands of Reds fans in attendance.

Ahead of the game, Arne Slot paid tribute to Jota in an interview with club media, saying: "It (Jota's death) had a lot of impact on us but nothing compared to the loss that is felt by his parents, his wife Rute and his children and his other family. The first feeling we all have is of sadness. The second feeling that comes to my mind is pride.
"I think his parents and Rute can be so proud of the player and the person he was – mainly the person. I’ve spoken to many of his teammates, I’ve spoken to many staff members, and they all rate him so high and all say how nice of a person he was. That he was always himself. So they should and will be very proud if they could hear what all his teammates and all the staff members would say about him.
"Second of all, I think our fans can be so proud about the players we have at this club. They’ve seen them winning the league, that was a great achievement, but what they did in the last week with the togetherness they had, how they conducted themselves when we were in Portugal together, the fans couldn’t have asked for more from our players when it comes to how great human beings they are. Those are the two emotions. Of course, the first emotion of sadness is much stronger than the one of being proud. But it’s the both of them."
