CLEVELAND, Ohio— The American Red Cross and the Cleveland Browns will host the annual Cleveland Browns First and Ten Blood Drive on Saturday, July 26 at 13 locations throughout northeast Ohio, including the Huntington Bank Field, Cleveland Club from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Huntington Bank Field, Cleveland Club is located on the south side of the facility next to the Browns Pro Shop on Alfred Lerner Way. Free parking is available on weekends at metered spots in front of the stadium. All presenting blood donors will receive a Browns T-shirt, while supplies last, and be entered for a chance to win an autographed Browns football.
The busy summer season often keeps people from giving blood. Additionally, the increased risk of severe summer weather can quickly impact the ability to collect blood. Donors are needed now to ensure all patients, including those facing chronic conditions like sickle cell disease, never have to wait for vital care. All blood types are needed but donors with type O blood are urgently needed.
Schedule an appointment to give blood with the Blood Donor App, visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter sponsor code "BROWNS" or call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
