TBR Football can exclusively confirm the latest involving Manchester United and their pursuit of Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.
The Red Devils have been in pursuit of the Cameroon international for weeks now as they look to strengthen their attacking ranks.
However, the deal has hit a stumbling block, with some reports claiming Brentford have raised their valuation from £65million to around £70million.
TBR Football confirm what the main obstacle is in the talks between the two clubs, and also what Manchester United are now telling Mbeumo.

Manchester United ‘very frustrated’ but confident of deal
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has spoken to sources from both Brentford and Man United.
Brentford sources are saying that talks are ongoing, while Man United sources say they are not paying extra but remain in talks and are confident of a deal.
“United are very frustrated, as is the player,” Bailey exclusively told TBR Football. “But again, they are keeping pretty quiet. Officially.
“The guaranteed money is the main obstacle still… this was seen as a minor issue two weeks ago, yet that is still the main problem.
“Man United are telling Mbeumo they still fully expect him to be on their pre-season tour.”
