West Ham are expected to receive an “imminent” bid from Everton for midfielder Tomas Soucek, according to reports.
TEAMtalk claim that Toffees boss David Moyes is keen to work with the Czech Republic international once again, having originally signed him for the Hammers.
It is believed that an offer in the region of £12m will be lodged, which is said to match Soucek’s asking price.

While West Ham are not interested in offloading the 30-year-old, it remains to be seen whether they will stand in the player’s way if he wants to talk to Everton.
A former Irons defender could play an important role
Soucek’s fellow countryman, Vladimir Coufal, was allowed to leave the London Stadium when his contract expired at the end of last season.
However, TEAMtalk report that the fullback could end up playing for Moyes at Everton, and if he does move to Merseyside on a free transfer, it might improve their chances of signing Soucek. The pair are said to be close friends.
Nothing is set in stone on either Soucek or Coufal at the moment, but it does look like the London club’s resolve to keep the former will be tested over the coming days.
West Ham are keen to add numbers in midfield
It should be pointed out that head coach Graham Potter is actively looking for fresh faces in the middle of the park so that may play a role in whether Soucek stays or goes.
Manchester City’s James McAtee and Liverpool’s Tyler Morton have been mentioned as potential targets. The Hammers are also looking at more attack-minded players with Harvey Elliott and Jacob Ramsey said to be on the club’s radar as well.
