Ray Robert among several Toffees players to sign professional deals

Signing their first-ever professional deal is a huge step in the career of every teenage footballer as it signals they are on the right track to making it into the senior game.

Ray Robert, the 16-year-old striker, scored the first ever goal for the club at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, scoring in the Under-18s game against Wigan.

He held his nerves and scored a penalty kick in the 88th minute of the contest to ensure his side did not lose without breaking the deadlock.

Robert has now signed his first professional deal at the club, along with Seve Patrick, Harvey Billington, John Dodds, Shea Pita, Lewis Evans, Freddie Murdock, Malik Olayiwola and Amari Moses.
