Arsenal’s new third kit for the 2025/26 season appears to have leaked ahead of its release.
The brand new Arsenal third kit for the forthcoming 2025/26 Premier League season appear to have leaked online weeks ahead of their official release date – with images from a marketing campaign circulating on social media.
The pictures appear to corroborate details revealed by previous leaked information regarding the design direction of the Gunners’ latest kits, whilst giving us our first look at the new Adidas shirt in action – and we even have the third-choice goalkeeper kit to go with it.
What Arsenal’s brand new third kit for the 2025/26 season looks like
The leaks, which have not been verified as yet, corroborate previous suggestions that kit manufacturers Adidas would go with a white shirt with maroon and gold trim on the collar and shirt sleeves.
Adidas’ trademark shoulder stripes, again in maroon, are in place, as is their alternate trefoil logo and the club’s simplified cannon badge – both of which are picked out in the same shade, along with the front of shirt sponsor. A stylised AFC logo also graces the nape of the neck.
The kit is fundamentally similar to the away shirt from the 2007/08 season (which was later used as the third kit during the 2008/09 season), although Nike’s design for that year featured only the faintest touches of gold.
The third-choice goalkeeper jersey, meanwhile, is a simple green effort with alternating pale and mid-green stripes, a round white collar and the white Adidas stripes across the shoulders – a rather traditionalist look awaits David Raya should the shirt be required.
Although an official release date has not been announced, it is believed that the third kit will be launched in August. The home shirts for the 2025/26 campaign are already available to buy, and the away kit, with its striking blue lightning patterning, is expected to follow suit before the end of July.
‘Beautiful’ Arsenal fans react well to new third kit
The new Arsenal kit seems to have gone down well on social media, with the majority of Arsenal fans giving the clean new look a warm review – even if a few wondered why a team whose fiercest rivals traditionally wear white would don the same colour.
Fans responding to posts about the leaks have described the fresh jerseys as “beautiful”, “spectacular” and “superb”, and the general response has been extremely positive.
There have been a few dissenting voices, with some stating a preference for the bolder, jazzier away jersey, while one or two fans disliked the square collar design, but in general it sounds as though plenty of North London’s fashionistas will be purchasing one of the new shirts once they become available in the coming weeks.
Quite a few of them might now find themselves wondering whether they’ll be able to buy the new kit with the name and number of Sporting striker Viktor Gyökeres on the back – now that we know how Arsenal will be dressed for the new campaign, all that remains is to find out who will be wearing the brand new shirts.
