Dan Friedkin has made multiple changes to Everton since he took over the Toffees.
The Friedkin Group completed their takeover in December 2024 with a majority stake in the Merseyside club.
Since then, Friedkin has overseen multiple departures as he aims to take the Toffees back up the Premier League table.
Now, further changes to the structure of Everton are set to take place, with The Esk delighted with the news.

Everton’s owners also have multiple sports assets around the globe, most notably Serie A giants Roma.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Now, according to Sportico (16 July), Friedkin has formed a new sports team group, Pursuit Sports.
This will manage his football assets while actively hunting for a franchise in one of the big four North American leagues.
An announcement is set to take place on Wednesday, naming former Clearlake and Fenway Sports Group executive Dave Beeston as Pursuit’s CEO.
It has been stated that the formation of Pursuit Sports isn’t to create a multi-club hierarchy where lower clubs feed players up to higher clubs. Club management and player decisions will remain separate from each other and will be led by the local executive slates.
The Esk was quick to react to this news on X (16 July) as he commented: “Brilliant news. Beeston is a fantastic operator.
“His philosophy echoes much of the comments I made in my MCO piece. Absolutely delighted by this.”
Start of a new era at Everton
It has become clear that Everton were in a transitional period for the first six or so months under Friedkin.
However, now that this news has broken, it should help the Toffees and David Moyes have a clear sense of direction going into the new campaign.
Hopefully, this will now lead to further success on the pitch and a potential return to Europe in the next few years.
There is no doubt that Everton are one of the biggest clubs in England, and now Friedkin needs to take advantage of this.
Progress now needs to be made, or the Toffees could face a serious battle to reclaim their spot near the top of the Premier League.
